Subtitles in real time
Respeaking (also known as real-time subtitles) is an innovative service that Landoor offers in which a respeaker summarizes the translation spoken by a simultaneous interpreter into voice recognition software that transforms the translation into subtitles. Respeaking is particularly recommended for occasions in which, for example, the audience would like to hear the voice of a famous orator or would prefer not to wear headphones during a gala banquet. The respeaker summarizes and clearly articulates the words of the interpreter (whom the public does not hear) and within the space of a few microseconds, the software transforms them into subtitles projected on screens in the room.
